How a piece reaches you.

Payment

Every piece is paid for online. When you reserve a piece you'll be sent a secure payment link; the piece is held for you until it is paid, and then it joins the next packing day. Nothing leaves the bottega before it is paid in full.

Commissions

Commissions are welcome. Because a commissioned piece is thrown for you alone, a 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due before it ships. The deposit holds your place in the making queue and covers materials and kiln time. Deposits are non-refundable once the clay is thrown.

Where we ship, and roughly what it costs

Shipping is added at checkout and always charged at cost. A rough guide for a single piece:

• Within Bulgaria — Econt or Speedy, about €2–4, with office and locker pick-up available.
• Greece & Romania — economy courier, about €5–7.
• Rest of the EU — Bulgarian Post INTERCONNECT, about €12–16, insured up to €450. For further destinations, a set of pieces shares the postage and makes far more sense than a single cup.

Every piece is wrapped by hand for a fragile journey. Breakages are rare, and EU parcels are insured — if something arrives broken, send a photo and we'll make it right.

Made to order

Many pieces are made to order, so allow a few weeks between payment and posting — a piece passes through the kiln twice before it can leave the workshop.
