Commissions

A piece made for you.

A set for a wedding, a shape you can't find, a colour you've been chasing — made slowly, by hand, for you alone.

How it works

  1. Talk — tell me what you have in mind: form, size, colour, quantity.
  2. Agree — we settle the details, a price, and a rough timeline.
  3. Deposit — a 50% deposit confirms the commission and begins the work.
  4. Made — thrown, dried, and twice-fired over a few weeks.
  5. Sent — the balance is settled, then your piece is wrapped and posted.

The deposit

Every commission requires a mandatory 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due before shipping. It covers materials and kiln time and holds your place in the making queue; it is non-refundable once the clay is thrown.

What can be made

Mugs, cups, bowls, plates, planters, vases — single pieces or matching sets. Because everything is handmade, small variations are part of the character, not a fault.
